Role: AS400 Developer & Support
Location: Renton, WA (4 Days Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on AS400 (IBM i) platform
Write and optimize programs using RPG (RPG III/IV, RPGLE, Free Format RPG)
Design, query, and manage DB2 databases
Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
Collaborate with business and technical teams for requirement analysis and enhancements
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives
Ensure documentation of processes, code changes, and support activities

Required Skills:

Strong experience with AS400 (IBM i) systems
Proficiency in RPG (RPGLE / Free Format RPG)
Hands-on experience with DB2 database (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
Experience in application support and incident management
Good understanding of system integrations and batch processing
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
