Job Summary
As an Entry-Level Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our security operations team by helping monitor environments, identify potential risks, and assist in enhancing the overall security posture of our clients. This position is a hands-on opportunity to work across a range of projects and technologies in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor network and system activity for unusual or unauthorized behavior using SIEM and other security monitoring tools.
• Assist in responding to security incidents, supporting investigation and remediation efforts under supervision.
• Contribute to routine vulnerability scans and coordinate with relevant teams to support patch management activities.
• Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response records.
• Support internal and client-facing security assessments, audits, and compliance verification activities.
• Assist in developing and delivering cybersecurity awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations and training sessions.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to support proactive defense strategies.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure configurations in systems, applications, and cloud environments.
• Review and assist in the optimization of security controls such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and access policies.
• Support automation of repetitive tasks through scripting or use of security tool features.
• Prepare summary reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and risk indicators to internal teams or clients.
• Participate in project meetings, client interactions, and knowledge-sharing sessions as part of ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of experience, or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on training/certifications).
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as firewalls, malware, phishing, and encryption.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic networking concepts.
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
Familiarity with Wireshark, Burp suite, Nessus, AWS, GCP, AZURE
Certifications like CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, CEH, GIAC certifications, CISSP
